"As it is, it can't look brand new. I'd rather tell you now than after you've paid." That's how a quote started for a terrace with years of wear.
Why "it'll look like new" is rarely true
Worn surfaces, sun-faded colour, acid burns and broken joints aren't dirt. Cleaning removes dirt; it can't put back material that's gone. Sometimes a clean even makes existing damage more visible.
What an honest quote looks like
The company sees the floor (or photos) before pricing, tests on a hidden area, and tells you clearly what will improve and what won't.
Questions to ask before hiring
- Will you test first?
- What can't be recovered?
- What pressure and products will you use on my material?
- Is the price fixed?
